The Böglalm proudly celebrates its 40^th birthday! Since 1985, our rustic hut has been a popular meeting place for locals and tourists alike.

With its authentic Tyrolean atmosphere and delicious regional specialities, the Böglalm has established itself over the years as a real gem in the Alpbach Valley. The Böglalm inspires with its fantastic panorama, hospitality and excellent cuisine. The typical delicacies of Tyrolean alpine gastronomy are served daily from 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. - with the exception of our rest days Monday and Tuesday, when we go hiking ourselves. But it's quite simple: as soon as the yellow umbrella has been opened, we look forward to welcoming you! Let's go - everyone has managed the few steps.

In keeping with the rustic Alpine tradition, we only accept cash payment.

The fastest way to happiness

The Böglalm is located at 1,220 metres above sea level and can only be reached on foot or by bike via our circular hiking trail. To get to us, simply park at the public car park in Inneralpbach or at the last parking option, the former Gasthaus Leitner / direction Greitergraben. Follow the the arrows ‘Rundwanderweg Böglalm’ and after about 45 minutes of walking you will be rewarded with a marvellous view and Tyrolean culinary delights await you!

The taste of summer

FRESH, LOCAL, HONEST!

At the Böglalm we only use regional products, cook with joy, fresh and à la minute. That's why it can sometimes take a little longer, but the Kasspatzl'n, Kaiserschmarren and the popular pan-fried schnitzel taste like grandma's - simply delicious.

Please remember - we do things the traditional way. That's why we only accept cash. For larger groups, please book in advance. This ensures that a spot at the Böglalm remains free for you.

We are there for you from Wednesday to Sunday from 11 to 4 o’clock.

Breakfast with a view

Start your day with a rustic alpine breakfast in the middle of the Tyrolean mountains, lush meadows and marvellous peace. We spoil you with a lot of joy and love as well as regional and self-prepared products.

Our alpine breakfast includes: Coffee or tea, refreshing orange juice, home-baked bread & sweet pastries, homemade jams, honey and spreads, bacon, ham, cheese, 1 egg and some fruit.

Important: Please order our alpine breakfast at the latest on the day before by calling Michaela on +43 (0)676 45 68 863, so that we can serve it starting from 9.30 am. Please inform us in advance about any intolerances and vegetarian wishes.

Wednesday is Kaiserschmarren Day

In summer we traditionally serve our legendary Kaiserschmarren with fruity apple sauce on Wednesdays. This is the day when our Kaiserschmarren specialist is on duty. The sweetest occasion to always come here hungry on Wednesdays.

Sweet “Strauben” on Thursday

A delicious sin made from yeast dough, baked until golden brown and served with cranberries and icing sugar.

Friday is dumpling day

At the Böglalm, every day is actually dumpling day, but on Fridays we conjure up the alpine classic in completely new, sometimes unusual variations.

From beetroot or porcini mushroom dumplings to the popular spinach dumpling in a trio - depending on what our chefs come up with, you can expect a delicious surprise every Friday.

Whether savoury, spicy or even sweet. In any case, it's always a well-rounded treat!
